What is Genius Buddy and how to unlock the bonus
Genius Buddy is the digital evolution of UniCredit, a bank account managed entirely via smartphone with no fixed monthly fees. The current promotion allows you to obtain €50 directly into your account simply by opening the account and using the card for a small purchase.
It is essential to follow the correct procedure to avoid issues: you must choose the classic registration with document scanning. We advise against using SPID or CIEid for the initial sign-up, as these often cause technical glitches in the bonus tracking system.
Activation Procedure and Promo Code
The first step is to download the app and click on "Open Account" (Apri Conto). In the very first screen, you will be asked to enter a 🎁 PROMO CODE: You can find this in our "Community Codes" section.
When choosing your card, select the MyOne Virtual Card exclusively. This version is completely free, unlike the physical card which carries a €7 issuance and shipping fee. Once you have signed the contract and received the activation confirmation email, you can proceed with the deposit.
Deposit and Spending Requirements
To remain eligible, your balance must stay greater than or equal to zero for the entire duration of the initiative, until the reward is delivered.
  1. Deposit: Make a bank transfer (we recommend €11) to your new IBAN. Using online banks like Revolut ensures speed and zero fees.
  2. Technical Wait: The virtual card details (number, expiry date, and CVV) only become visible in the app 48 hours after the account is opened.
  3. Transaction: You must spend at least €10 within 30 business days. Online payments, in-store payments via Apple Pay/Google Pay, or entering card details on e-commerce sites are all valid.
⚠️ What is not valid: Bank transfers, internal transfers (giroconti), or top-ups to other prepaid cards (even those with an IBAN) do not count towards the bonus.

If you don't have any planned purchases, here are some quick ways to unlock the bonus:

Timing and Referral Program
